Did you know that Target REDcard is ranked as best store credit card for everyday items by Nerdwallet in 2017?
You get a 5% discount on all Target purchases, free shipping on most items at Target.com and 30 extra days for returns.(Some restrictions apply. See REDcard benefits & program rules.)
If you shop at Target or Target.com regulary, it seems like a pretty good idea to use REDcard for most if not all of your purchases.
While we are on the subject of Target or as some people pronounce as "Tarjay" let's check out some cool information:
Pronouncing "Target" as though it were a French boutique is older than you think. Douglas Dayton, who inherited the Dayton business along with his brothers, recalled that people were making that joke from the time the first Minneapolis location opened in 1962.
That was #2. We definitely did not know the #13: Target reverse-engineered shopping carts to make them easier and more comfortable to maneuver.
The price tags at Target tell you more than you think. For instance, if the price ends in $0.06 or $0.08, then the item will be marked down again. If the price ends in $0.04, that means that it is final clearance and will not be marked down again.
This one is an interesting one but we don't know how accurate it is although we heard similar pricing markings being used by other stores.
